When family roots drew us back to southern Yunnan, our journey led into the mountains of Xishuangbanna. There, we came to know dedicated farmers producing coffees still unfamiliar to many in North America.
Coffee here was part of a larger story, rooted in Yunnan's varied landscapes and rich biodiversity, and woven into the lives of communities that call the province home.
Our name comes from a historic translation of Xishuangbanna. Today, we source coffees from Yunnan and beyond, roasting each one fresh in small batches so its character comes through in the cup.
Yunnan is our beginning. As Twelve Fields grows, we will follow that same curiosity wherever coffee, culture, and place meet.
